Halloween is almost here :)

Smiple but cute lunch. I made this lunch with a bed of goldfish ,a ghost sandwich, Trader Joe's pumpkin face cookies , strawberries and some grapes . I added a spooky green hand and just some love . The munchkin was so happy to show off her simple lunch packed in her shuttle planet box . 

Monday is here already .

Back to school Monday and here is a preview of what for lunch . Packed in our goodybyn green lunch box is sandwiches squares , Granny Smith apples , crackers and Nutella , and a nature valley oats and honey bar . A simple fast lunch for my spunky 5 th grader , who is kindly letting her way uncool mom still pack her lunch . I was afraid this year she would not let me pack her lunch at all but she did . All I have to do is keep it simple or make it cool and not babyish as she would say . Happy lunch everyone . Come back and see what the munchkin will be having for her back to school Monday lunch .

2 kids and with different lunches !

My girls are about 5 years apart so they always want something different , which I'm sure is always the case with all siblings . So the little one  gets her princess requested lunch and the big one says mom keep it simple ! So here are their 2 different lunches , one is a home made lunchables style lunch and the other is a Snow White  press lunch . It might not always be 100% healthy but sometimes u have to give them what they want . I stopped packing my big one with a lot of veggies sometimes even none because they are all coming home and going in the trash . We compromised and now once a week we go veggie free , trust me I would rather not but if she is gonna keep her promise and eat her veggies every other day then it's a win/win . I started packing bento lunches because my daughter was always eating just a bagel or cereal and was always coming home hungry , also I like that I see what they are actually eating and what they are not . Packing lunch is a great way to feel content knowing you gave them what they needed and what you wanted them to have . At our school they do not eat the lunch they buy and are using extra funds to buy ice cream and cookies , so we had to put a stop to that and make it just a treat now and then for the girls . Easy lunches !

I love that this was a quick healthy lunch . We packed a chicken wrap some carrots and grapes . This is one of the munchkins favorite lunches . Easy lunch = happy mommy and a full belly . Happy lunch everyone !

Munchkin lunch !

Today I made the munchkin some Nutella  roll ups , cucumbers , green grapes , crackers and some bunny fruit snacks . This was a very simple lunch roll out some bread spread what ever u like on it and cut in to three strips , roll up and add sprinkles ! This lunch was super simple and very cute , I love compacting everything because its all right there for little hands to have easy access to all there favorite things , and even some new things . The thing I love about bento is that it's very appealing to little eyes , organization with food is just more appetizing , if you went out  to eat and everything was sloped all over the plate would you eat it ? Odds are no . Happy lunch everyone . 

Bitter sweet lunches !

Today I was very sad , happy and nervous all at the same time . My older daughter is now a fifth grader and my little monkey is official a kindergartner , as proud as I am it was very sad to see her fly on her own today . I love making them lunch because it makes me feel like a piece of me is with them . Today I used our  yumbox and planet box . Both packed  with sandwich cut outs , fruit salad and veggies for them to dip . Each lunch is different but both packed with love and good wishes . Happy lunch everyone .

Lunch is better with butterflies ...

Today we were heading to the beach , so it was time to pack lunch . A small side salad , a butterfly shaped Nutella sandwich , grapes and everything flat breads yummy. The girls had a great day fishing and I had a great time watching them fish. Where do you take your lunch with you over the summer ? Happy lunch everyone .
